GAME RULES:
STARTING THE GAME
Golf or Die is best played with four players. Start by assigning each player a number from one to four. The numbers correspond to the dots on the 'Teams' die (see below), which determines the team pairings after each roll. Each player starts with three chips. Pick one person to be 'The Bank.' This person is responsible for handing out the poker chips.
STEP 1: ROLL THE DICE
Two dice are used in the game. Die #1 determines the team pairings for the hole, and Die #2 designates the game that is to be played on that hole. A player will roll the dice on each tee box, creating a random set of teams and a mini-game. Player One rolls on hole one, Player Two on hole two, and so on.
STEP 2: PLACE YOUR BETS
Be bold and make big side bets throughout the round! Players can wager their poker chips against any opponent, for any reason, on any hole. For example, you can bet on whether you will sink a long downhill putt, drive a green, or make a birdie. All bets can be either accepted or refused. There are an infinite ways to place your bets, so get creative!
STEP 3: SHOOT YOUR SHOT
There are 6 possible game and team combinations on each die. Play the hole and follow the team and mini-game rules based on the dice roll. Keep scrolling for more details on the mini-games.
Track the score by using the mini poker chips, which are paid to the winners of each hole. No chips are awarded for ties. Any player that runs out of chips must earn their way back into the game by winning a hole or buying back in.
STEP 4: CROWN THE WINNER
In Golf or Die, the winner takes all! The player with the most chips at the end of the round wins the game. To pump up the pressure, assign a specific dollar value to each chip. Pay the winner, based on the chip differences, at the end of the round.
HOW TO PAY THE WINNER
The winner will collect from the three losing players. If a dollar value was assigned to each poker chip, then the amount collected is equal to the difference between the winner's chip count and each losing player.

- Add up the total number of putts for each team.
- The players on the team with the fewest combined putts win one chip.
- If the roller is playing solo against the field, the roller's total number of putts is tripled and matched against the sum of the three scores from the opposing team.
- If the hole is a Par 4 or 5, play Longest Drive. The players on the team with the longest drive win one chip. The drive must be in the fairway. The winner is determined by whichever ball is closest to the flag for the second shot
